This project involved the extension and conversion of a redundant loft space within a detached Victorian property, to provide the client with additional sleeping accommodation and a en suite bathroom.

At the front of the property,  two smaller pitched dormer windows are proposed. These are traditional in design to match the period property below. This was a particularly important design consideration when adapting the principle elevation of a character building.

The large dormer structure to the rear will provide circa 12 sqm of usable floor space and a generous flat ceiling above the bathroom at one end and the new master suite at the other.  The dormer will be clad in aluminium cladding and timber weatherboarding to match the modern extension below.

Status : On Site. Due to complete early 2019.
